Dieter Klein studied Art Photography in Cologne, Germany between 1979-1984. Since 2009 he has been working on a personal project entitled Forest Punk, in which he captures picturesque ruins, where historic cars are slowly sinking into oblivion.
Dieter writes in his artist’s statement: “When I discovered Rosalie in the middle of an elderberry bush, I fell head over heels in love. I was so fascinated by this 80-year-old Citroën truck, which was slumbering in the midst of fairytale scenery, that I decided to go in search of other such places in Europe — and I found them”.
